Can I rent a bike for the Maratona race?+
Yes! We offer a limited selection of high-end Basso bikes for rent a range of sizes. Just tell us your height, and we’ll confirm availability — hassle-free and ready for the Dolomites climbs. Please reach out to us with your height for the latest availability.
Can I ride an e-bike?+
Unfortunately, E-bikes are not allowed for the Maratona race itself. However, if you’re a companion, we can arrange an e-bike for you so you can explore the Dolomites leading up to race day.
How should I prepare for the Maratona?+
Whether your goal is to finish comfortably or aim for a top result, preparing for the Maratona Dolomites is key. Once you are signed up we'll send you monthly reminders with training tips and motivation. We can also connect you with appropriate virtual coaching platforms or personalized programs from top cycling coaches. Even if you live in a flat area, you can definitely have a successful Maratona ride. Just talk to us for training suggestions!
Is the Maratona dles Dolomites tour the right level for me?+
As long as you come with a good training base, you will be fine. We have a wide spectrum of riders joining us, from those going for a top result in their age category to riders wanting to enjoy themselves in the mountains in the company of others. The Maratona offers three route options, allowing you to choose your challenge on the day and adjust as you go.
Short / Sellaronda–loop: approx. 55 km with around 1,780 m of climbing.
Medium course: approx. 106 km with around 3,130 m of climbing.
Full Maratona course: approx. 138 km with about 4,230 m of climbing.
